Medication:any substance or substances used in treating disease or illness; medicament; remedy

Apparently, the Connecticut Assembly's Committee on Judiciary thinks human life may be a condition of which to be remedied, a state of which "medication" may cure one.

Ah, brave new world, that has such caregivers in it!

And such public servants!

Feats of legerdemain are often accomplished by an unprepossessing magician with ain interesting animal, or a beauteous, scantily clad assistant to serve as a distraction.

Lawlor, McDonald et al seem to have used blatant anti-Catholicism for the same purpose.
