Stunning Polyphony from Kevin Allen

A rare Sunday morning, no lay reader duties, no K of C egg scrambling duties, no Religious Ed duties - thus, enabled to make the two hour drive to an EF Mass, thereby avoiding any references to the, (in my view foolish,) re-arrangement of the calendar which pretends Epiphany is something other than the Twelfth Night of Christmass.
So let us praise the Holy Name!
A paean to the Love all lovely Who came down at Christmass by the brilliant Kevin Allen.
This is a lovely setting that could be done alternatum with chanted verses.

JESU, the very thought of Thee,
with sweetness fills my breast,
but sweeter far Thy face to see,
and in Thy presence rest.

Nor voice can sing, nor heart can frame,
nor can the memory find
a sweeter sound than Thy blest Name,
o Savior of mankind!
