Let's get this straight.
Cartoons motivated by contempt are laudable, those motivated by hate are not.
Journalists are entitled to free speech, bloggers are just hate-filled bigots, we're not saying anyone deserves to be murdered, but...
"Infliciting deliberate anguish on millions of devout" people, by mocking what they hold most sacred does not advance the cause of freedom of expression, and is just wrong.
Except, of course, when it does? and when it isn't?
