When the Phone Rings at 1:39 in the Morning, it Means that Someone is in Jail, in the Hospital, or in the Morgue! or DOES it?

Actually, I just remembered something that I learned from a source other than a Christmas carol or other religious song...

I learned it, as it happens, at 1:39 this very morning.

When your phone rings like that, waking you out of a dead sleep, it might NOT mean that someone is dead or in trouble, as I had heretofore believed.

No, it might just mean that someone in your family has a new cell phone and doesn't know which button retrieves voice mails and which one is for re-dial.
