Murk

It will surprise no one who knows me that Lent being over, a spiritual practice I.... well, practiced during Lent, while it excited me to a certain level of enthusiasm, has not completely changed my careless ways.
But I am trying.... and most day, I pray it.
From the concluding collect for today's Office of Readings:
You have rescued us from the murk of error and falsehood: make us stick more closely to the teachings of your truth.

I just found that language more colorful than usual.
