Ite, missa est...

And sent they were.
The Chant Masters of the future, (as Jeffrey? referred to them,) indeed have gone out into the world, and spread the good news.
Scholas begun, bishops spoken to, Vespers sung, Masses planned.... well done, brothers and sisters!
Janet of VoxFemina has gathered in one post, Aftermath of Chant 'Boot Camp' wonderful stories of daring and success.
Me, I'm playing Sing to the Mountains....

I feel your pain... I was treated to some music from the old G&P (the old wire-bound editions I think) that I haven't heard in more than 20 years this past weekend visiting at a parish Mass that I hadn't attended before... as I sang along with the catchy rhythms, I must admit it did hit me as a bit humorous... not that I take inappropriate music for the liturgy lightly... I just have a weird sense of humor. After all... all those years ago, I was singing with the band. Thanks goodness for being enlightened... even at this later stage.
