A letter from Prof. John Rist published in the Catholic Herald and retweeted by Edward Pentin, says that the po.... very senior Catholic churchman who demot.... found a new and less taxing job for a certain cardinal said that the latter "liked" the situation, contrary to what all of the latter's friends know to be the case.

I suppose it could be meant that the very senior churchman was merely misinformed.
