On the Other Hand, In What Sense Is the Church In Germany "Catholic"?

But didn't want it to pass unmentioned, so I just ask,

 a pre-synod questionnaire, ...revealed that only 54% of priests [in Germany] go to confession even once a year; only 58% of priests pray daily; 60% percent of parishioners don’t believe in life after death; and 66% don’t believe in Christ’s resurrection.
