Let's see, we, through people we have deputized to do such things, engaged in extraordinary rendition: kidnapped, imprisoned and tortured a man, and then released him, in a state of psychosis that our actions induced, into a strange land without a word of explanation; and he has no redress whatsoever as far as our country is concerned, because talking about it might expose state secrets.
