Richard Proulx is to be honored with a doctorate degree and a concert of his music tomorrow.


I had no idea he had written an opera (unless the article means "The Pilgrim" but I think not as that is mentioned separately.)

Or perhaps the fact that he was commissioned to compose one does not necessarily mean that he has done so?

Anyway, jolly good.
There is worthwhile liturgical music coming out of Minnesota!
