I receive a few too many newsletters on the subject, and get advertisements plugging goods that are way out of my realm, but I enjoy looking at them, as a rule.
I don't dress well myself, and I know a great deal of what passes for even haute couture nowadays is ugly and manages to de-humanize and over-sexualize the wearer at the same time, but when a garment is beautiful, it is beautiful.
It gladdens the heart to look upon it.
The late Oscar de la Renta designer many such garments.
So, yeah, it's not a big deal, but it bothers me when something like this comes out under his brand, his name.
